Fun. Laughter. Beauty. What more could you ask for in a wedding? Over the last few months, Heather and I have had the joy of working with Margaret and Zack. We both knew back in August when we shot their
engagement session, this was going to be one gorgeous wedding. I mean, just look at the two of them.Their November nuptials were held at the Chapel of the Ozarks in Northwest Arkansas. The reception rocked out at the nearby EmbassySuites. Becky Clement and her team at Inspired by Nature once again outdid themselves with the fall hued posies. Heather and I had a wonderful time being part of their wedding team. More than that, they made us feel like part of
the family. There were too many images for me to pare down to my usual 10-12, so I hope you enjoy the next 20 something images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.

I’m sure you’d like to see some smiling faces of the happy couple. Here’s a glimpse of the first look from Zack’s perspective. I love Margaret’s little wave!

This is quite possibly my favorite picture to date. Seriously. sigh.
Zack and Margaret, I pray your life together is full of laughter. I pray you’ll always make time to dance. Most of I pray, your love will always be as beautiful as your wedding.

one of my favorite songs
There are a few days left before we begin the dash into Christmas cheer and glittery winter. I encourage you to take these next days of thankfulness to find rest and soak in the splendor of this glorious season.

The Autumn
Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Go, sit upon the lofty hill,
And turn your eyes around,
Where waving woods and waters wild
Do hymn an autumn sound.
The summer sun is faint on them —
The summer flowers depart —
Sit still — as all transform’d to stone,
Except your musing heart.
How there you sat in summer-time,
May yet be in your mind;
And how you heard the green woods sing
Beneath the freshening wind.
Though the same wind now blows around,
You would its blast recall;
For every breath that stirs the trees,
Doth cause a leaf to fall.
Oh! like that wind, is all the mirth
That flesh and dust impart:
We cannot bear its visitings,
When change is on the heart.
Gay words and jests may make us smile,
When Sorrow is asleep;
But other things must make us smile,
When Sorrow bids us weep!
The dearest hands that clasp our hands, —
Their presence may be o’er;
The dearest voice that meets our ear,
That tone may come no more!
Youth fades; and then, the joys of youth,
Which once refresh’d our mind,
Shall come — as, on those sighing woods,
The chilling autumn wind.
Hear not the wind — view not the woods;
Look out o’er vale and hill —
In spring, the sky encircled them —
The sky is round them still.
Come autumn’s scathe — come winter’s cold —
Come change — and human fate!
Whatever prospect Heaven doth bound,
Can ne’er be desolate.
Bridal photography is quickly becoming my favorite aspect of photography. It helps that I get to work with absolutely the most radiant brides. Margaret is beautiful inside and out. She is laid back, outgoing, and full of life. She loves being in front of the camera and, as you will see, the camera loves her. It is so much fun to work with someone so willing to “work it. I usually post my favorite 3 or 4 portraits. This time I couldn’t limit myself. I’m just so darn pleased with how stunning these photos are. Her eyes. Her dress. Her mane of gorgeous hair. The flowers by Becki Clement’s Inspired by Nature. Kakki Jones was our hair and make-up guru. Champagne was provided on set by Cathy – the most spontaneously fun mother 0f the bride. Stay tuned for fab highlights of Margaret and Zac’s Fall Wedding.
