Fun. Laughter. Beauty. What more could you ask for in a wedding? Over the last few months, Heather and I have had the joy of working with Margaret and Zack. We both knew back in August when we shot their
engagement session, this was going to be one gorgeous wedding. I mean, just look at the two of them.Their November nuptials were held at the Chapel of the Ozarks in Northwest Arkansas. The reception rocked out at the nearby EmbassySuites. Becky Clement and her team at Inspired by Nature once again outdid themselves with the fall hued posies. Heather and I had a wonderful time being part of their wedding team. More than that, they made us feel like part of
the family. There were too many images for me to pare down to my usual 10-12, so I hope you enjoy the next 20 something images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.

I’m sure you’d like to see some smiling faces of the happy couple. Here’s a glimpse of the first look from Zack’s perspective. I love Margaret’s little wave!

This is quite possibly my favorite picture to date. Seriously. sigh.
Zack and Margaret, I pray your life together is full of laughter. I pray you’ll always make time to dance. Most of I pray, your love will always be as beautiful as your wedding.

Bridal photography is quickly becoming my favorite aspect of photography. It helps that I get to work with absolutely the most radiant brides. Margaret is beautiful inside and out. She is laid back, outgoing, and full of life. She loves being in front of the camera and, as you will see, the camera loves her. It is so much fun to work with someone so willing to “work it. I usually post my favorite 3 or 4 portraits. This time I couldn’t limit myself. I’m just so darn pleased with how stunning these photos are. Her eyes. Her dress. Her mane of gorgeous hair. The flowers by Becki Clement’s Inspired by Nature. Kakki Jones was our hair and make-up guru. Champagne was provided on set by Cathy – the most spontaneously fun mother 0f the bride. Stay tuned for fab highlights of Margaret and Zac’s Fall Wedding.

William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library was the perfect summer backdrop for Kate and Kyle to tie the knot. A marriage ceremony on the back lawn of the library followed by dancing into the night in the Great Hall made for one enchanted evening. If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know that I am a HUGE fan of the details – the fashion, food, flowers that go into making a wedding day unique to the couple. My partnership with Heather Owens - Belle Vie Artistry- it is a great match for us – she captures what she loves on the big day – the people, and I capture my favorite things – the details. Here is a glimpse into all those months of decisions over the details Kate and Kyle made that came to fruition to make their big day a bright summer celebration.
The Dress

The Shoes:
Kate chose these Kate Spade Purple Satin wonders

And of course the necessary accessories
The Pearls

The Rings

The Shades
And the mini-Fans!
(given that it was unseasonably H-O-T for mid June, these were a fantastic idea and counted as the brides “something blue”
The Bride & Groom
The Wedding Team

The Flowers
Phil Cato’s About Vase outdid themselves with these vibrant, happy arrangements of gerbera daises, roses, and fruit.

The Food

The Cakes ( with a side of gelato – yum!)

Of all the many decisions this couple made along the way, it is obvious choosing each other was the best decision of all.

Kate and Kyle, Thank you so much for giving Heather and me the opportunity to be part of your big day. We wish you a lifetime of laughs and love together.

You never know what you’ll find when you stop by my little blog. I’m one those kind that likes to have several irons in the fire. I’m thrilled that Belle Vie Artistry – a wedding photography partnership with Heather Owens – is one of those irons. Meet our latest Belle Vie Couple.
She’s an outgoing sales rep. He’s a quiet IT guy. They have two precious puppies ( which you can see over on Heather’s blog). I really dig these people!
Margaret and Zack were so much fun to shoot last weekend. They were such troopers battling the summer heat wave and racing all over the countryside to beat the setting sun. We laughed so much that I can’t wait until November when we get to see them again and shoot their big event. For now enjoy a sneak peek of this spunky couple in love! Oh what a beautiful life.

Now scoot on over to Heather Owens Photography Blog and see the amazing shots she captured.
Cheers, Y’all!
Saturday was the celebration of nuptials of Kyle & Kate. It was a glorious event. Belle Vie Artistry ( The joint venture between Heather Owens and me) had the privilege of shooting the happy (hot) day. Despite the heat, it was fun and we can’t wait to show you the shots of just how much fun it was. We snapped a few bridals of Kate a few weeks ago. These are a few from my lens. I must say Kate is the epitome of the Belle Vie Bride Heather and I imagined: elegant, classic, easy going, and all around FUN. Kate, we so appreciate you giving us the honor of capturing this beautiful moment in your life.
