Two weeks left in September 2012. We’re bumping up against the last quarter of the year. How did THAT happen?
If my calculations are correct, we have about 14 weeks to check off all those lofty goals we set for 2012.
The GREAT news is we have three months to celebrate jobs well done, get back on track, or get to work and deliver the goods.
In January, I set 5 goals for myself for 2012: Eat Well. Move More. Grow. Share. Save.
They’ve become a mantra in my head. They are posted on the bulletin board near my desk. They are my wallpaper on my phone.
So, how have I done?
Well, I’m challenging myself to use these weeks left in 2012 to SHARE with you progress, tips, and lessons.
Most of all, I want to encourage you to dig out your 2012 goals.
How have you done? I would love to hear about your progress.
What are your challenges? What have you conquered?
Wouldn’t it feel far better to finish 2012 near your goal than giving up on yourself?
I’m a firm believer that if we can keep the goals and deadlines we set for ourselves, we become invaluable employees, volunteers, family members, friends.
This process of self-discipline develops us into people of integrity – the folks who do what we say we’re going to do.
Action speaks louder than words. Intentions aren’t measurable.
So, let’s hop to to it and get stuff done in 2012.
Ready. Set. GO!
There’s a man in the world who is never turned down,whatever he chances to stray;
he gets the glad hand in the populous town,or out where the farmers makes hay;
he’s greeted with pleasure on deserts of sand, and deep in the aisles of the woods;
wherever he goes there’s a welcoming hand-he’s the man who delivers the goods.
